21/02/24 - I am having a rejig of the website to simplify things. I just want to make sure you can find everything I do better. I have also added menus so you can really see you options. Menus are changed on a yearly basis just to keep up with ever evolving taste and changes. The ever changing world of a small business I guess!

27/06/23 - I have added a buffet option to our offerings as I know times are tight and I wanted to expand what I can provide to you all. I have already created the same kind of menu for other events and so I hope that in offering it officially we can work at more events together. The last of the packing is being priced up as I have found some that I really like. It will make good seed trays too once it stops having scones in so I will look forward to your pictures once there are re-used.

09/05/2023 - Hello! How has it been a year. I really do need to kick into another gear with this. Sorry everyone. I am currently looking into scones by post which is exciting and packaging is arriving next week, which is very exciting. This came through customer feedback during lockdown when we did the door to door deliveries. Now I am hoping my scones will be able to get even more up and down the country! I want it to feel like a gift so it has gone through a lot of product development and I really hope you enjoy them soon.

17/05/2022 - Hello! Where is this year going, but I guess everyone is saying that. This month we have appeared on the “Modern Mann” podvast, which was very exciting and turned out really well too! It was lovely to meet everyone there and it was something to go through everything that has happened. Gosh it has been a bit of a time hasn’t it. But it is fun running a business and I wouldn’t have it any other way. And in any case - who else would make you all lovely scones! We are gearing up for the Jubilee, which is very exciting. I have to stop myself from buying too much lovely Jubilee merch but maybe I shall treat myself at some point. We are providing deliveries the whole of that Jubilee week so I’m hoping I shan’t be too busy so I can enjoy the party too!

18/01/2022 - Hello! Brand new year and I can’t believe it. I am grabbing this year by the scruff of the neck and am looking forward and keeping marching on! I am looking at the calendar and we have all got the Queen Jubilee coming up which is very exciting and our 5th birthday, which I also can’t believe. (Maybe the last two don’t count) I hope to be at many many events in the not to distant future, but in the meantime I am bedding down and refreshing the website.

25/11/21 - I am very busy juggling baby and work at the moment, like so many mums and we are finally gathering momentum towards Christmas and we have now got vouchers for our cream tea deliveries and merch coming its way soon. It’s all very exciting and I can almost taste the festivals of next summer but that’s a long way away. So for now, I shall put on the kettle, have a biscuit, and work out how to get more cream teas out to you all soon.

06/06/21 - Hello! So much has happened whilst we have been on a break. We have had a little baby scone added to the family and she is a scrummy delight! In other news we now have a shop opening tomorrow! You will be able to order cream tea deliveries right to your door. We sadly can go as far as the BS postcodes, but hopefully we can expand to further afield soon. In the meantime, stay safe, keep a look out for Instagram stories with updates and enjoy the amazing summer I’m sure we will all have.

13/05/2021 - We have decide to start delivering again with much excitement. We will be starting to take orders from the 7th of June with an idea to deliver on every Saturday with extras deliveries on Bank holidays or for deliveries of more than 10. We are also looking at new trends and products for the coming year and generally looking forward to new adventures ahead.

07/01/2021 - We are going to hold off on all deliveries until we are back down into Tier 2 as we want to keep as many people safe as possible and I think the new restrictions have been bought in for a reason and we all need to do what we can. Please do support other businesses that are safely able to continue, and we hope we shall be able to repeat last years cream tea delivery success by the time the sun comes out again. Take care everyone.

21/12/2020 UPDATE - WE HAVE DECIDE WITH THE NEW RESTRICTIONS WE ARE CANCELLING ANY FOOD DELIEVERIES UNTILL FURTHER NOTICE. WE THINK IT’S BETTER TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE AND WE CAN HAVE TEA AND CAKE LATER! THANK YOU FOR THINKING OF USING A LOCAL BUSINESS AND WE HOPE YOU HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!

28/10/2020 - Hello! We are at UWE and along with a few smaller weddings things are getting going finally this year, but lets not count are chickens…. We can still be at or provide food for smaller events and weddings and so if you are having a smaller gathering this year, let us know and we can discuss how we can help.

05/10/2020 - Wow how is it OCTOBER?! But I guess everyone is saying that. I have been moving the business round some corners and up some mountains and as the catering industry seems to be survival of fittest at the moment, we are pushing on! We are opening at UWE next week EEEK!! to serve the committed arts students vegetarian goodies between their classes. I have got some re-arranging to do on the website and some COVID stuff to double check and hopefully we shall be up and running by Christmas. (Can’t wait till Christmas! Decorations are going up as soon as spooky season is over!)

23/06/2020 - HELLO! Sorry I didn’t realise how long it had been. How embarrassing! Well, what a time to be alive folks! All of the events and weddings and parties we were looking forward to this year have been cancelled and all we can do is sit tight and count the blessings that we are happy and healthy. We are now delivering and it is proving busy so please do book early if you would like a cream tea or some cake straight to your door. We hope to be up and working at an event very soon but in the meantime we are adapting, like everyone else. Support your food industry and order local if you can!

07/03/2019 - HAPPY NEW YEAR! We have come out of our winter hibernation and we have been baking, taking exciting photos, developing our new menus, (more than one!), designing our new logo, discovering vegan alternatives and refreshing the website. We have also replaced our van Alison RIP with Beatrix our horse box trailer! Beatrix means, she who brings happiness, and so we thought it was quite fitting. I hope she brings happiness to us and happiness to all our customers. Right back to the website building…..

06/12/2018 - We are busy developing the website, the brand, the menu… its all go! If you have any last minute wedding booking for next year please do contact us on the contact page and we shall see if we can squeeze you into our summer plans. It will soon come round!

16/10/2018 - WOW! What a busy couple of weeks. We have had two busy wedding fairs and can’t wait for the Chosen Wedding Fair this weekend either! We have just got to get through all the booking requests before then.

26/09/2018 - Oh no another month has gone by without posting. We have come to the end of our main festival season so we will be spending the rest of the year getting on top of paperwork and the website, and booking for next year, so if you would like us at your event contact us above!

20/06/2018 - We have a banner and a shop front for our Alisonless tangent of the business. It means we can be in two places at once! Delivering more scones to more people, and who doesn't want that! See us this weekend at the Handmade Fair at Bowood House with Alison and with the banner at Longleat food festival.

01/03/2018 - It's SNOWING! - so understandably we will not be at the wedding fair on Saturday and Sunday at Bath Showground. So close and yet so far.

28/02/2018 - Lots going on! Kickstarter people should now all have their merch. Thank you again. Flour, jam, dairy and packaging have all arrived for the wedding fair on Saturday and Sunday at Bath Royal Showground, so all that is left to do is make 600 scones!

13/02/2018 - Happy Pancake Day! - (still not as good as a scone btw). Merch for our Kickstarter helpers will soon be out and we are booking events, festivals and the like very quickly so if you would like Alison with you this summer get her booked in soon!
